Wow, what a couple of months, huh? *falls down sobbing on the floor*

I've most likely posted about this before (although not on my personal blog), but the reason there haven't been any updates to "anarchy and finch" since last year is because I'm rewriting the entire thing from the ground up. It's gonna look like a different story when I'm finished with it. I'm not sure whether I'm gonna just delete the original (probably) or not, but my current plan is to release the (rewritten) Part 1 all at once, replacing everything else I'd written before. Sorry to anyone who just got into it or anyone who has been reading it since the beginning. After I'm finished rewriting Part 1 and posting it all at once, the web serial (now a web novel) will once again be updating weekly, starting with the first chapter of Part 2.

I just wasn't happy with Part 1 after rereading it. Just, you know. I was kinda in a Different Place when I wrote it and while this is true for all my writing, "anarchy and finch" is near and dear to me enough that I was just like fuck it, I wanna do this again but now I've got a better idea of what the story is, what I'm trying to do with it, the world I've created, everything. I know myself better and I know the characters better. I've been influenced by a few books I've read recently and shows I've watched. This is, in some ways, almost a mishmash of all the stories that have inspired me for the past ten years. I wanna do it right, or at least what feels right to me.

Anyway.

I don't have a timeline for when I'm gonna be done. Soon is my best guess, if all goes well. I'm also working on some short stories and other pieces of fiction and essays that I'm gonna do things with (hopefully).
